The 8th annual Five Points Kids Marathon Gainesville Presented by Studio32 Orthodontics will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014 and we hope to see this event continue to grow in our community, bringing the challenges and rewards of fitness to children from Kindergarten through 8th Grade. The Kids Marathon series has expanded to nine cities and reached over 3,000 children in 2013. We look forward to continuing the growth of the Kids Marathon and creating the “Donation Generation.”
Sponsorships for the Kids Marathon Gainesville are still available. For more information contact Eric Martin at 352.224.1623 or firstname.lastname@example.org
What is the Kids Marathon?
This is an extension of the Five Points of Life Marathon which is on Sunday, February 16, 2014. The goal of the Kids Marathon is to promote good health and physical fitness by giving kids the opportunity to accomplish the goal of running an entire 26.2 miles, just like marathoners! The difference is that the kids will be running and training the distance between now and race day. They will complete the final 1.2 mile run on Saturday, February 15, 2014.
Kids in kindergarten through 8th grade are eligible. Kids must have completed 25 miles prior to Saturday, February 15, and bring their log sheet to registration, signed by a parent/guardian, and register online by February 13, 2014, at packet pick up on Friday, February 14 or the day of the race.

Only one parent or guardian will be permitted to accompany each participant on the 1.2 mile run. Other family members and friends are encouraged to attend and cheer on the participants during the run. Parents should not register to run. Only the kids will need to register in order to receive a t-shirt, race bib, and finishers medal.
We have created a certificate of achievement for you to fill out and give to those children that have completed any mileage for the Five Points of Life Kids Marathon.
