Run for a great cause at the 11th Annual Five Points of Life Race Weekend on February 25 & 26, 2017 in scenic Gainesville, Florida!

The 5Points 5k will be held on the campus of the University of Florida on Saturday, February 25 at 8 a.m. The start/finish areas are located across the street from the UF Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute in the parking lot of the Phillips Center for Performing Arts on the University of Florida’s campus at Hull Road and SW 34th Street.
The 5K route stays on the UF campus taking runners on Mowry Road, down Gale Lemerand Drive, past Fraternity Row and winds scenically by Lake Alice, the Baughman Center, and the renowned Bat House ending at the Five Points of Life Marathon start/finish area.

Make your Five Points of Life Race Weekend experience even more meaningful by joining Team Five Points. Anyone who raises $105 is eligible to join and will enjoy exclusive benefits throughout race weekend. All funds raised will directly support programs of the Five Points of Life, including Five Points in the Classroom and the Five Points of Life Kids Marathon series. Packets will contain your race number, sponsor goodies and your t-shirt. They can be picked up on Friday, February 24 at LifeSouth Community Blood Centers at 4039 Newberry Road, Gainesville, FL 32607 between 4 and 7 p.m. Packets can also be picked up at the finish area on race day beginning at 7 a.m. Race day registration will be accepted for the 5K and Kids Marathon.
Awards & Age Groups
Overall finisher, age groups and master awards will be given out immediately following the race at the start/finish area. Drinks and snacks will also be provided after the race.
Overall finisher awards will be given to the top three finishers for each gender. Age group awards will be dispersed to the top three finishers of each gender in the following age groups:
- 10 and under
- 70 +
We will have two hydration stops with water along the course. The main medical tent at the start/finish area will also be there to assist you at the beginning and end of the race.
